Vacation Career 5th and 6th Doctors The 5th and 6th Doctors were sitting at a table listening to the house band play their rendition of "Starship Trooper" by Yes. 6 was bobbing his head in time with the melody, and 5 was leaning back in his chair sipping his iced tea. "You know," Said 5, "I'm thinking about taking a vacation." 6 looked at 5 questioningly.. "Oh? Where to? They Eye of Orion again?" 5 put down his tea and stared at the half full glass as he spoke.. examining the facets of the ice. "No... not really a .. do-nothing vacation. Simply a vacation from time travelling, and saving the Universe and all that. I'm considering getting a job on Earth." "Really?" 6 regarded his young looking predecessor amusedly. "Doing what, may I ask?" 5 looked thoughtful as he pondered on what job he would get. "How about a veterinarian in some quiet North English town? I know a lot about Earth animals." 6 wrinkled his nose at the thought. 5 didn't notice and he continued. "I could say my name is.... hm.. something stylish, yet simple" 5 pondered a few seconds on a name "Tristan? How's that?" 6 shook his head. "Look, Tristan's all well and good, but do you really want to be sticking your hand up a cow's.. well.. never mind. How about a detective?" 5 considered it. "Well.. I do like a good mystery now and again." all right.. A detective! What about the name? Tristan... Farnon. Tristan Farnon the Detective?" 6 shook his head adamantly waving his hand dismissively of 5's suggestion of a name.. "No no no no... Not Tristan Farnon.. not for a detective.. You need something with more style.. more panache!.. Hmm... Campion.. YES! Campion for a surname!" 5 tried out the name "Campion.. hm.. not bad.. but what about the first name? How about... Albert? Albert Campion?" 6 smiled and patted 5 on the back. "Sounds like a plan!" 5 smiled and continued drinking his tea "Indeed it does!"
